Does someone have to be at the uplift and delivery?
YES. You or an authorized representative needs to be at both
the uplift and delivery of your belongings. The designated
representative needs to be present to instruct the men on the
placement of the furniture and effects in your new home and to
sign off on all paperwork.
Will Coffs Harbour Relocations & Storage disassemble and
reassemble any of my furniture during my relocation?
The Coffs Harbour Relocations & Storage crew will disassemble
and reassemble your beds for your move. However, it is the
responsibility of the client to have swing sets, trampolines and
the like already disassembled for the relocation and also to
reassemble the same after the move.
What should I do if I have more or less furniture than what
was quoted on?
Please contact your Coffs Harbour Relocations & Storage
consultant and we will revise your quote if need be.
If Coffs Harbour Relocations & Storage has not quoted to
pack, where do I start?
Coffs Harbour Relocations & Storage can provide you with packing
materials for your relocation or you can get your own materials.
You will need strong clean uniform sized cartons, white paper
(newspaper leaves the print on your china etc and makes for a
lot more work in the long run). Tape, be careful when using some
tapes as they can rip varnish off furniture or leave sections of
unwanted sticky glue on precious items, or they simply will not hold
the cartons together. Marking pens to indicate the contents of each
box and the room they came from.
How long can I store my household effects for?
Coffs Harbour Relocations & Storage can provide storage for
as long as you require, we have short and long term storage
available.
What about my valuables such as jewellery and stamp
collections?
These items are your own responsibility and are excluded from
transit insurance cover. You are required to transport all valuables
in the way of jewellery, stamp collections, money, cheque books
and keys with you personally.
